For our Preteens we focus on a variety of different real life topics, although these topics are covered with the mindful preschoolers and Wild Kids, for our preteens we lead more discussions vs teaching to their sub-conscience through play. Missed classes are non refundable. Any classes cancelled due to Wild Minds having to cancel, will be made up.

When should we arrive for class?

We suggest that the students please arrive a 15 minutes early, so we can ensure we have time to fill out the Waiver form on the first day, and 10 minutes early for the following session to make sure everyone is dress and ready to go.

Drop off Instructions: Send your wild mind in (reminding them to be quiet as this is a shared workspace) feel free to guide them to remove their shoes/socks/jackets and we will take over the drop off once they have entered the studio

Door will be locked 10minutes after then posted class start time

Pick Up Instructions: The door will be locked, please line up outside + wait until your child is ready (we encourage all the kids to get themselves ready to go + are happy to help if needed) If a new face is picking up your wild mind please let us know who. We encourage all parents to stay outside as this helps us keep the kids calm + quiet (if its brutally cold/storming we will invite you in)

How do I know how my child is doing, in class?

If you would like updates on your childs experience, feel free to send a message to your child's teacher they will be happy to provide you a honest update on how your child is absorbing the classes

What if my child is "too energetic?" I really don't think they'd do yoga!

Our philosophy for busy children is "Bring it!" Kids yoga, is planned to meet them where they are at. We introduce them slowly. Everything is taught and embraced through play. We pre plan our classes using popular themes and topics the are age appropriate, and engage the children using all kinds of sounds, movements and expressions. We help them develop at their own pace, and help them grow into the poses, while teaching them the importance of their breath. Over time these topics are absorbed, often without them even realizing, where your "overly" energetic child has learnt to self regulate and slow things down.
